 Illegal Immigration

"Anchor Babies" are NOT U.S. Citizens.

The act of granting citizenship to any baby born inside the borders of the U.S., regardless of their parents status, is blatantly unconstitutional.

Here is why:

The 14th amendment was added July 9th, 1868, after the War of Northern Aggression (Aka: Civil War). Its purpose was to overrule the March 6th, 1857 decision from the Supreme Court (Dred Scott v. Stanford), which held that black slaves and their children were not citizens of these United States. The 14th amendment was written to stop any State from denying citizenship rights to newly freed slaves, some of which had been in the country longer than some whites

The amendment guaranteed that freed slaves would have all the privileges of citizenship by providing:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and if the State wherein they reside."

The sponsors of this amendment, meaning the men that actually created it, had no intention of conferring citizenship on the children of aliens who happen to be born in the U.S.   Those that think they didn't consider its effect on the children of aliens are just wrong.

Regardless of what was said by a limited few representatives to the contrary, the author of the citizenship clause that was passed, Senator Jacob Howard of Michigan, expressly stated:

 "This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers."  

This position was again supported by the Supreme Court in the 1884 case Elke v. Wilkins, in which it ruled that the 14th amendment didn't even confer citizenship on Indians, as Indians were subject to tribal jurisdiction and not U.S. jurisdiction.

THIS WAS COMPLETELY UNDERSTOOD FOR ALMOST 100 YEARS, UNTIL 1982, when a liberal progressive Supreme Court Justice by the name of William Joseph Brennan, Jr.,  wrote his 5-4 opinion in Plyler v. Doe. In this "opinion", he asserted that

"no plausible distinction with respect to Fourteenth Amendment "jurisdiction" can be drawn between resident aliens whose entry into the United States is lawful, and resident aliens whose entry was unlawful."

I guess the fact that one is LEGAL and one is ILLEGAL is not a "plausible distinction"?

This asinine liberal and unconstitutional "opinion" has done nothing but help destroy this country.

As your Representative, I will fight to bring legislation that will  stop the State of Texas from recognizing unconstitutional "anchor babies" as citizens, and will remove all illegal alien access to any program funded with the tax dollars of Texans.

I ask you this:  If a foreign army invaded America, would any babies born out of that invasion to that army be considered citizens?  Think about it...

"The Houston Galveston Regional Plan" http://www.ourregion.org/ is funded with our tax money, through a federal grant from HUD, EPA, and the Federal Department of Transportation. It is commonly referred to as "Go Sustainable", "Sustainable Communities" or Sustainable Development".

This "initiative" is pure Marxist and Socialist ideology on display. It is directly related to the United Nations global initiative called "Agenda 21". http://www.un.org/esa/dsd/agenda21/   

This is a deadly cancer on State sovereignty, individual liberty and property rights. The ultimate goal is control of the masses on a global scale. In my opinion, this movement cannot be stopped fast enough.
